GULABGARH, Jan 12: Two day painting and essay writing competition was organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, located at Bagga and Gulabgarh under Uniform Force, which concluded today.
Seventy students, in various age groups, of Government High Schools at Bagga and Gulabgarh added an extra dash of color during celebrations of Army Day by participating wherein the students made beautiful and imaginative paintings based on the theme of National Integration.
In addition to these activities, screening of movie, talk on Swachh Bharat campaign and a lecture cum demonstration on health and hygiene aspects was given to the students.
Sarpanches, teachers and locals attended the event, thanked and expressed profound gratitude towards the Indian Army for organizing such events. The events culminated with distribution of prizes to winners and sweets to all the children.
