JAMMU, Jan 15: JKP Cricket Club trounced KC Sports Club (KCSC) by 6 wickets and registered berth in the next round of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament, being sponsored by KC Hyundai, Jammu, here today.
Batting first KCSC scored 131 runs in stipulated 20 over. Abhishant Bakshi smashed some crispy shots and scored 63 runs and Deepanshu contributed with 10 runs.
For JKP Cricket Club side, Ankush was the pick of the bowler with 3 wickets and Monu scalped 2 wickets.
In reply, JKP Cricket Club played valiantly and chased the target in 14.2 overs. Shewag scored 52 runs and Shashi made 24 runs.
Shewag from JKP Cricket Club side was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Rajinder Singh and Sandeep Manchanda as umpires, whileas Suresh maintained the scorecard.
