JAMMU, Jan 17: The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Jammu centre in collaboration with MBS College of Engineering and Technology (MBSCET), Jammu organized one day workshop on Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM).
Sardar Rangil Singh, chairman, MBS College was the chief guest for the workshop who while speaking on the occasion emphasized the need of such technical workshops for providing exposure of emerging trends in technology to the budding technocrats to face challenges of 21st century.
Prof S K Badyal (Principal, MBSCET) who was the guest of honour emphasized on the interactive mode of participants to reap in the benefits of workshop.
Shalini Sharma, Coordinator, ESDM workshop, welcomed the dignitaries. Dr. Rakesh Vaid, chairman, IETE Jammu centre and delivered a talk on design of microcontroller based circuits.
Dr. Parveen Lehana, secretary, IETE Jammu centre, discussed the requirements for future systems based on human like intelligence.
Er. Sumit Gupta, Director, School of Electronics and Communication, SMVDU presented his views on Wireless Networks based system design.
The workshop was attended by large number of graduate students of Electronics & Communication and Applied Electronics & Instrumentation branch and faculty members from the institute.
Deepika Sharma, treasurer, IETE Jammu centre was also present on this occasion.
Others who attended included S Parveen Singh, Prof A S Sudan, Surinder Kour Bali, Sonika Mahajan and Sonakshi Sudan.
