JAMMU, Jan 18: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Displaced Kashmir Unit held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president TN Bhat.
The meeting was attended by general secretary Virender Kuchroo, executive members of the Unit and senior BJP leader Moti Koul.
Moti Koul while speaking asked the members to stand united and work towards removing the hurdles created by vested interests backed by earlier administrative machinery.
It is very unfortunate that during last 25 years in exile, not a single concrete step has been taken to address short and long term concerns of our community, he said.
TN Bhat said that all units of BJP Displaced Kashmir Unit will observe “Holocaust Day” as “Black Day” by wearing black badges.
Later, the members present stressed upon the Government to fulfill its promise of enhancement in cash assistance to the migrants and also urged upon the Government to hold the interview for teacher and lab assistant (District Cadre) under PM Special Package at Jammu as soon as possible.
