JAMMU, Jan 19: J&K Cycling teams were selected for participation in the 11th MTB National Cycling Championship to be conducted by Cycling Federation of India at Pune in Maharashtra.
Earlier, J&K State Sports Council conducted screening of the team under supervision of Rajan Sharma, Divisional Sports Officer (Jammu) in presence of Om Parkash, general secretary J&K Cycling Association, Mushtaq Ahmed, joint secretary (Kashmir Province) and NIS Cycling coach Rahul Kumar.
The teams: Men Elite; Haroon Rashid Dar, Naseer-ud-Din Waza, Aasif Ahmad Mir, Shajad Ali, Rajnish Sharma, Akhil Gautam, Ajay Kumar, Aakhil Jamwal and Dharminder Singh.
Men Junior: Shazan Farooq, Parwez Ahmad, Yougesh Sharma and Aijaz Ahmed Bhat.
Men Sub-Junior: Aakarshit Pathak.
