JAMMU, Jan 21: Mitali Sharma of Laurels Basic Convent School, Bahu Fort won first cash prize of Rs 5000 in a painting competition organized at Government boys middle school Gorkha Nagar, Bagh-e-Bahu today, Bipul of Bethel Living World School, Qasim Nagar won second prize of Rs 4000 while Suneha of Government girls middle school, Gorkha Nagar won third prize of Rs 3000.
The students of six schools participated in the painting competition. They included Government high school, Qasim Nagar, Government boys middle school, Gorkha Nagar, Government girls middle school, Gorkha Nagar, Laurels Basic Convent School, Bahu Fort, Little Star High School, Gorkha Nagar and Bethel Living World School, Qasim Nagar.
Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) City East Mohammad Rafiq gave away the prizes to the winners. SHO Bagh-e-Bahu police station organised the painting competition on the directions of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
