SAMBA, Jan 29: As part of its efforts to save the new generation from bad evils and educate them about their physical and mental fitness through sports activities, Jai Baba Santokh Nath Environment and Sports Welfare Committee, Smailpur today organized a T-20 cricket match between Senior XI and Lupin Jupiter at Pandit Prem Nath Stadium, which was won by former by one wicket.
Batting first after winning the toss, Lupin Jupiter scored 107 runs in stipulated 20 overs. The main scorers for Lupin Jupiter were Vinod and Rajesh who scored 20 and 19 runs, respectively. For Senior XI, Dilawar took three wickets in his four-over spell while Ranjeet also scalped two wickets.
In reply, Senior XI easily chased the target and won the match by one wicket. Dilawar scored 25 runs while Ranjeet scored 20 runs for Senior XI.
Dilawar was declared as man of the match for his brilliant performance with both bat and ball.
The match was officiated by Vishwa Nand Chalotra, Ajeet Singh, Ranjit Singh, Anoop Singh and Ravi Gupta. Rohit was the scorer while Sham Lal Tandotra and Ajit Singh acted as umpires.
