UDHAMPUR, Jan 30: To spread the message of patriotism and communal amity among the young generation, District Information Centre (DIC) today organized a debate competition on “National Integration and Communal Harmony” in the premises of Sunrays Children Institute.
Principal of the host school, Lalita Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion.
As many as 12 participants of the host school deliberated upon the topic and expressed their views. Satveer was adjudged best speaker while Aman and Ashu secured second and third positions, respectively.
Besides, two consolation prizes were also given to Bhomika and Simran Thakur. The participants were awarded prizes and certificates of merit.
On the occasion, a film show based on patriotism and road safety was also screened by the Information Department to generate awareness among the masses.
