RAJOURI, Feb 5: As a part of drive against drug menace, District Police Rajouri under Civic Action Programme today organized a symposium on “Abuse of Drugs in New Generation” in collaboration with Jagran Manch, Kalakote at Higher Secondary School Kalakote in which students of different Schools participated.
On this occasion, seven students spoke on the topic and highlighted the various abuses of drugs in the society. Uzma of Higher Secondary School, Solki, Kajal of Higher Secondary School, Kalakote and Deepak Sharma of Indira High School, Kalakote bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, respectively.
Addl SP Nowshera Rakesh Kumar, was the chief guest on the occasion. All the winners were given Cash prize, Trophy and Certificates. SDPO Nowshera, Sargun Shukla, speaking on the occasion focused on the ill effects of the drug menace and advised students to refrain from it. The prominent persons and teaching faculty present on the occasion highly appreciated the efforts of District Police Rajouri in eradication of drug menace from the society.
