JAMMU, Feb 5: An unidentified youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train here today.
According to a spokesperson of Railway police, a youth aged about 20 years this morning jumped before a moving train near Channi Himmat area on city outskirts and ended his life.
He said an amount of Rs 420 was recovered from his possession while no suicide note or any other document was found.
The mutilated body of the youth has been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital for identification and postmortem, he said, adding a case has been registered in this concern and investigations started.
