JAMMU, Feb 8: Steps conducted 2nd Scholarship Test for junior classes from 6th to 9th at Govt. College for Women (GCW), Parade, here today.
The first Test was conducted on Feb 1, 2015 in which more than 700 students participated. Steps, a leading Institution for School Programs, preparing students for various Olympiads & NTSE is conducting such tests from the last 7 years in Jammu to enable students to assess themselves towards their aptitude in Maths, Science and Reasoning at the foundation building stage.
Students from various Public Schools took part in the Test. The response of the students and especially their parents was heartening.
The intent and purpose of the Test according to Manik Dhermy, Steps faculty member, was to spread awareness about the need of developing the Maths and Science aptitude at this level in order to enable the students to face the competition more confidently at the higher secondary level. Looking at the keenness of the parents, the Steps Management announced that the result of the Scholarship Test will be available on the website steps.tcyonline.com on February 12, 2015.
