Satchel organizes art camp

JAMMU, Feb 15: Satchel, an Institution for promotion of music, art and languages organized a two-day camp at Vikas Colony, Paloura, here today.
85 students drawn from various schools of the State participate in the camp.
Diksha Thakur, Laksha Dhalia, Mir Faizan, Neha Bakaya and Minaz were adjudged best in senior group, while Nandita Agnihotri, Ayat, Sumit Turki, Vineet Gupta, Anshu Bhat and Aryan Pandita were the winners in the junior group.
Sapna Mahaldar and Naina Razdan were the adjudicators of the event.
Neha Bakaya, Mir Faizan and Nandita Agnihotri were pronounced as the overall winners for their paintings and innovative themes, while all the participants were awarded certificates of honour by Anupama Kaushal.
Speaking on the occasion, RK Mahaldar, patron of the Institution threw light on the need and importance of vocational education. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sarita Raina, Amita Mattoo, Rohit Raina, Sneha Kaul and Neelam Gupta.
