UDHAMPUR, Feb 18: Tehsil Information Center, Ramnagar organized a debate contest on the Topic “Role of Ethics in Modern Life” at Government High School , Badhole of Zone Ghordi, here today.
As many as 10 students participated in the contest and put their serious view on the topic and most of them spoke in favour of importance of ethics in life.
Headmaster, Sureshta Kumari was the chief guest on the occasion.
Akshay of class 10th was adjudged first while Miss Neha and Anjali of classes 10th stood 2nd and 3rd respectively in the debate contest. Rakesh and Anil Kumar were awarded consolation prizes in the contest.
While speaking on the occasion, the speakers appreciated the efforts of Information Department to hold such contest in the rural areas. She said that such type of contest would definitely provide a platform to budding students to channelize their talent in right direction. They urged the department to organize such more programmes in the near future also.
Information Department also distributed prizes and certificates among the participants of the contest.
