JAMMU, Feb 24: Govt. Degree College, Billawar in collaboration with Legal Services Committee, Billawar organized a “Legal Awareness Programme” for the students of the College.
Dr Netar Singh, Principal of the College was the chief guest and Advocate Jatinder Singh Bhadwal was the chief speaker on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Jatinder Singh Bhadwal threw light on various legal aspects such as fundamental rights of the citizens, Right to Information Act, Environmental Laws, Public Services Guarantee Act, Domestic Violence Act, etc.
In his address to the students, Dr. Netar Singh exhorted upon them to know and use the existing laws for the betterment of the society.
The programme was coordinated by Prof. Amit Kumar Sharma and Prof. Joginder Kumar.
Shreya Mahajan conducted the proceedings of the programme.
