‘Display Your Talent’ held at Sai Shyam College

JAMMU, Feb 25: Jammu & Kashmir Students Welfare Society, Anantnag, Kashmir in collaboration with NSS Wing of Sai Shyam College of Education Ghou-Manhasan, Jammu organized “Display Your Talent” in the College Campus, here today.
The competition was organized for both College as well as High School students of the institution.
The students participated in Rangoli, Painting, Slogan Writing competition, besides Symposium on “Beti Bachao Beti Padao”.
Forty five students from the College and School participated in the competition. In the College group, Rajinder Prasad and Om Prakash bagged first position, while Sonica Sharma and Suman Kumari claimed 2nd spot in Rangoli, while in Painting Competition, Stazin Spaldon and Stazin Charon got 1st and 2nd prizes respectively. In symposium, Dachan Angmo and Ravneet bagged the 1st and 2nd prizes respectively.
Meanwhile in School group, Class 9th got the 1st prize, while Class 6th won the 2nd prize in Rangoli Competition.
In slogan writing, Bharat of class 6th and Sahil Chouhan of class 9th got 1st and 2nd prizes respectively, while in the Painting Competition, Pankaj Kumar of class 6th and Harman Singh got 1st and 2nd prizes respectively.
In Symposium, Vidushi of Class 7th and Tanvi from Class 6th secured 1st and 2nd prizes respectively.
Kunwar Abhimanyu Dev Singh from Communication County, Jammu delivered impressive lecture on communication skills on the occasion.
The lecture was followed by an interaction session.
Dr Usha Tickoo Principal of the College extended her gratitude to Shabir Ahmad Shabir, Secretary of J & K Students Welfare Society for extending support in organizing the event.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by H K Kitchloo, while Mr Shabir presented vote of thanks.
