JAMMU, Feb 25: A Sports Week was organized by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Shri Ranbir Campus, here from February 19 to February 24, 2015.
Various sports events were organized during the week, which included badminton, kabaddi, volleyball, long jump, high jump, shot put and chess etc.
The valedictory function of the Sports Week was held today, wherein Rajat Chauhan, gold medallist of South Korea Asian Games was the chief guest, while the function was presided over by Prof Ramanuja Devanathan, Principal of the School.
Dr Sanjay Mishra, Assistant Prof Hindi and Manoj Mishra, HoD Veda conducted the function, while Dr Rajendra Lal presented welcome address.
Prizes were distributed by the chief guest and other dignitaries among the students, while the vote of thanks was presented by Dr Prabhat Kumar Mhapatra, HoD Jyotisha, convener of the games.
