KCC outplays BRSCC by 8 wkts in T20 tourney

JAMMU, Feb 25: Kantpur Cricket Club (KCC) defeated Brig Rajinder Singh Cricket Club (BRSCC) by 8 wickets in the ongoing Badhori Premium League Cricket Tournament played at Badhori cricket ground, here today.
Earlier, KCC won the toss and put BRSCC into bat first.
Batting first, BRSCC scored a mammoth total of 204 runs in the stipulated 20 overs by losing 4 wickets. Sandeep Sharma top scored with brilliant 81 runs off just 42 balls, studded with 13 fours and 3 sixes, while Jagtar and Sumit made 40 runs each. For KCC, Rakesh and Akash took 3 wickets each in their quotas of 4 overs each.
In reply, KCC chased a huge target by scoring 206 runs in 18.5 overs, losing 2 wickets in the process to win the match by 8 wickets. Arun made 50 runs in just 27 balls, with 2 fours and 5 sixes, while Shan Nazir contributed with 48 runs in 37 balls and Akash made 42 runs in 24 balls. For BRSCC, Siddant and Vinnu took 1 wicket each.
