JAMMU, Feb 25: Alleging that there is shortage of staff in Regional Transport Office, Jammu, Mini-Bus Workers’ Union, Jammu Province, has appealed Regional Transport Officer, Jammu to provide required staff in the office to ensure smooth work.
In a meeting of the union held under the chairmanship of RK Choudhary, the speakers alleged that since Government has affected transfers of the staff of RTO office there is insufficient staff in RTO office, as required staff has not been posted in this office. “As a result of this, the general masses have been put to sufferings as no work is being carried out in the office”, they added.
The union appealed the Government for providing required staff to RTO office to overcome the difficulties of the general masses and ensure smooth work in the office for best interests of the general public.
