UDHAMPUR, Feb 25: Udhampur Police today arrested a notorious thief and recovered stolen gold worth Rs one lakh from his possession.
The arrested thief has been identified as Mukesh Lal of Bali Nallah Udhampur. The recovered items included Mangal Suter and two ear rings, which were stolen from the house of Joginder, son of Jodh Ram of Sallain Talab Udhampur on February 21.
A case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
