JAMMU, Feb 27: Nirvan Diwas of Guru Gyagi was observed by the members of Guru Gyagi Mission, here yesterday.
A large number of the devotees took part in the programme and sought blessings of Guru Gyagi.
Speakers on the occasion threw light on the life and teaching of Guru Gyagi. They also stressed the need for brotherhood among all and a united fight against social evils prevailing in the society.
The gathering was also addressed by the Mission general secretary Krishan Lal, president Ashok Motan (Naib Sarpanch), chairman Thoru Ram, vice-president Chuni Lal Kaith, cashier Rashpal Bhardwaj, vice-cashier Romesh Lal Kaith and others.
Later, a meeting was held on the occasion, which was attended by Ram Lal Kaith, Bachan Lal Kaith, Shyam Lal Kaith, Pritam Lal, Sohan Lal, Subash Chander, Balbir Chand, Sobh Raj and Punu Ram.
