Justice Hasnain Masoodi after hearing senior counsel Z A Shah on behalf of 10 non selected candidates, issued notice to the respondents and stayed the selection list.

They are aggrieved of the criteria notified by the respondents which is unconstitutional and their exclusion is only because the way criteria has been adopted and applied by the respondent board in the selection.
Petitioners prayed for quashment of criteria adopted by the board for the post of JE as notified in the notice dated 10.5.2014 and sought fresh selection list of candidates for the post of JE(Civil).
