JAMMU, Mar 2: Ek Sath Rang Mandal (ESRM) in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), International Volunteer Foundation and BLSKS staged its 132nd play ‘Aaeenna’ in its Monday Theatre Series.
The play written by Vijay Mala and directed by Anuroop Pathania is a satirical comedy focused on the system prevailing in our country, particularly in public places like hospitals. The play displays how Government funds and machinery are used for personal use.
The play describes different characters in a hospital, which is being run in a hopeless manner lacking even a glass of water. Undesired mannerism is common phenomena of our system and for such kind of happenings, not anybody else but we are responsible.
Suresh Sharma, Executive Secretary, IRCS, district branch Jammu, was the chief guest while Kiran Kumar Sharma, a social worker and chairman, IVF, was guest of honour.
A large number of people witnessed the play. The actors who performed in the play were Anuroop Pathania, Rahul Pandita, Laksh Bali, Anil Singh, Surbhi Mahajan, Nazuk Bhagat, Qurat-ul-ain and Kuldeep Raj.
