Imran takes on Shray in Sr Squash summit clash

JAMMU, Mar 4: Outplaying their rivals by convincing margins today, Imran and Shray have made it to the senior category finals of the ongoing Jammu Open Squash Championship, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Squash Rackets Association and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council and Bharat Petroleum Ltd at Jammu Club, here.
Imran qualified for the finals by defeating Shivang Puri by (3-1) sets, while Shray made it to the finals by getting the better of Sanchit by (3-1) sets.
Meanwhile, in the veteran category, Ajay Kapoor trounced Krishan Kumar by (2-1) sets to qualify for the veteran finals.
Ajay displayed his squashing skills upto the maximum level as he smashed and defended from the word go and dominated the entire match.
The matches were officiated by Krishan Kumar, while the Tournament is being conducted under the overall supervision of GS Bakshi, general secretary, J&K Squash Rackets Association.
