RAJOURI, Mar 7: Government Degree College (GDC) Rajouri organized symposium on the caption “ The Philosophy of Truth and Non-violence” advocated by Mahatama Gandhi by the College Literary Committee under the convener-ship of Prof. Haqeeqat Singh Ishar and the patronage of Dr J A Qazi Principal of the College.
All the Staff and Students of the College were present on the occasion. As many as 10 students, selected after a detailed scrutiny by the committee, participated in the event.
Prof Haqeeqat Singh Ishar, convener of College cultural and literary committee, Prof Mohd Farooq Mirza HoD Education and Prof Javed Mughal HoD English were on the panel of the judges.
The first prize was bagged by Ehlam Mir of B.Sc. Part-II whereas 2nd and 3rd ranks went to Sushant Sharma and Iflak Ahmed of Part-III and Part- II respectively.
The proceedings of the programme were conducting by Sushant Sharma and Iflak Ahmed and the vote of thanks was presented by Prof Mohd Iqbal Raina of Physics Department.
