HPS students win medals in Taekwondo

JAMMU, Mar 9: The students of Humanity Public School (HPS), Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana brought laurels to the School by winning 8 medals in the 16th J&K State Junior Taekwondo Championship, 2014-15.
The Championship was organized by Jammu & Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) in collaboration with IOA and the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha, Parade, Jammu.
15 students of HPS participated in it and won 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.
Navjyoti (7th) and Shefali (5th) won gold medals; Mansi Lalotra (7th), Deepak (5th) and Ishrat (3rd) bagged silver medals, while as Rohan (7th), Digvijay (7th) and Kuljeet (9th) got bronze medals.
The winners were felicitated by Gaurav Charak, School Principal alongwith Anku Charak,Vice Principal, Pankaj Mehra (Coach), Poonam Sharma (Coach)  and the staff members.
