JAMMU, Mar 12: In a Public Interest Litigation seeking enhancement of pension of handicapped persons, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today granted one week’s time to the counsel for obtaining instruction from the Finance Department about the decision on the proposal submitted by the Social Welfare Department in this regard.
“In case of further non-compliance, Secretary Finance Department shall remain present in person”, the DB directed.
