JAMMU, Mar 12: Mystery shrouds the death of a woman, who was found in unconscious condition at S-Morh in Kot Bhalwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman whose identity is yet to be ascertained was found lying unconscious on road-side at S-Morh in Barn area of Kot Bhalwal, by a car-borne man who was on his way to Jammu.
The man immediately shifted the unconscious lady to nearby Primary Health Centre, Bhalwal, where she was provided first aid.
However, in view of her deteriorating condition, the doctors referred her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
The body of the deceased lady was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification and post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Gharota and investigations started under 174 CrPC.
