JAMMU, Mar 13: Students of KC Gurukul College of Education bring laurels to the College by winning prizes in different events, organized by NSS Unit of Jammu University in collaboration with Center for Women Studies, University of Jammu on the topic “Women in Contemporary India”.
Poonam Jamwal bagged 2nd prize in Poster Making competition, while the students also outshone in various events organized by different BEd Colleges.
Jyoti Bala and Lovely Sharma got 2nd prize in Slogan Writing competition “Role of Science in Education” held at National College of Education.
Nidhi Sharma won 3rd prize in Inter-College Symposium Competition on “Save Oil Save Planet”. She also got 3rd prize in Inter College Symposium on Topic “Save oil Save Fuel” held at RM Charitable and Educational Trust.
Sujata Khajuria and Subha Upadhya also secured 3rd prize in Poster Making competition on the topic “Save oil save fuel”. Lovely Sharma and Pawandeep Kour clinched 3rd prize in Slogan writing competition held in Govt College of Education on the topic “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”.
The Chairman of the College Arvind Mahajan lauded the efforts of the winners for this achievement.
