UDHAMPUR, Mar 14: Information Department Udhampur organized a symposium on the Topic “Swine Flu Ka Bachav Aur Suraksha” in the premises of Government Middle School, Badhal, Kulwanta of Sub Division Ramnagar, here today.
As many as 10 students participated in the symposium.
Block Medical Officer, Ramnagar, Dr Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest and Headmaster of the host School, Uma Ballav Gupta was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Ankush Sharma of the host School was adjudged first while Diksha Sharma and Rohan Sharma stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Manjeet Sharma and Jyoti Kumari bagged consolation prizes.
While speaking on the occasion, chief guest appreciated efforts of Information Department to hold symposium.
He also briefed the students about the do’s and dont’s regarding prevention and control of Swine flu among the masses.
Information Department also distributed prizes and certificates of merit among the participants of the contest. Anju Devi, Nisha Sharma and Tilak Raj Sharma (Naib Sarpanch) acted as judges.
