JAMMU, Mar 15: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association organized a State (M&W) Bench-Press and Powerlifting trials and selected men and women teams for the participation in the North-India Bench-Press and Powerlifting Championship to be held at Shimla from March 22 to Mach 25, 2015.
The team was selected by the Association on merit basis under the supervision of Rakesh Kumar, joint secretary along with other officials of the Association.
Varun Gupta in men’s category was also selected in 83 kg class for the participation in the Powerlifting Championship in North-india
Rajan Jain, general secretary of the Association will accompany the team along with other officials.
