JAMMU, Mar 23: Tata Crucible Campus today organized a quiz competition at Government Women’s College Parade in which 4 teams from various institutions participated.
Minister of State for Education, Information and Culture, Priya Sethi was the chief guest on the occasion and gave away prizes among the winners and runner up teams.
The students of various institutions from Jammu division participated in the competition. The first prize of Rs. 1 lakh was bagged by the winning team of Ankur and Sankey of MIET College, while as second prize of Rs. 50,000 was won by Bhawik and Ankur of Central University.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister stressed the need for organizing such events frequently to provide opportunities to the students enabling them to compete in various events across the country.
Minister called on parents and teachers to encourage the students to take part in such competitions. She also stressed the need for inculcating moral education to the students so that they can contribute in various philanthropic and nation building activities.
