JAMMU, Mar 24: Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association organized one week camp at Jammu for screening of State carrom players to participate in 43rd Junior National Carrom and Inter State Championship for Under-18 boys and girls to be held at Nagpur in Maharashtra from March 28 to Mar 31, 2015.
The selection trials were held under the supervision of Basit Ahmad Khan, Manager in presence of Abdul Qayoom, Chief Sports Officer, Rajan Sharma, Divisional Sports Officer, Nuzhat Ara, Sports Officer Central and Ravi Singh, Manager Indoor Stadium,Jammu.
The selected players included Aman Mansotra (Kathua), Furqaan Ahmad Janwari (Sopore), Babar Bashir (Sopore), Omar Mohidin (Budgam), Mohd Ayaz (Budgam), Suhail Fayaz Shal (Baramulla),
Suhaib Qayoom (Pulwama) and Adnan Afzal (Srinagar).
Selected girls included Nahida Naaz (Budgam), Bilquees Wani (Pulwama), Alisha Sheikh (Kupwara) and Humaira (Budgam).
