KC Sports Club T20 Cricket Tournament Rommy Sports outplays KCCC to face RCC in summit clash

JAMMU, Mar 28: Team effort helped Rommy Sports Club to trounce formidable Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) by 6 wickets and qualify for the finals of the ongoing KC Sports Club T20 Cricket Tournament, being played at KC School ground, here.
Now, Rommy Sports Club will take on RCC Srinagar in the Summit clash.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, KCCC scored a modest total of 133 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process. Shashi Kumar was the top scorer with 34 runs, while Pardeep Bali contributed 30 runs to the total. Wicketkeeper batsman, Raman Thaploo chipped in with 10 runs. For Rommy Sports Club, Monu and Narinder Singh took 3 wickets each.
In reply, Rommy Sports Club chased the target in 18.4 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Chamkor Singh played a valuable innings of 35 runs, while Sunil Sehgal contributed 24 runs to the total. Monu Singh was declared man of the match for his superb bowling display.
