JAMMU, Apr 1: J&K Sports Powerlifting Association team brought laurels to the State by winning medals in the National Deadlift & Federation Cup Powerlifting Championship at Kapurthala in Punjab.
The medal winners included Surmeet Kour Soni, who won silver medal in Deadlift Powerlifting Championship and Harmeet Kour, who won two silver medals in Deadlift and Federation Cup Powerlifting Championship.
The team was honoured at Jammu today by the Managing Committee of the Association including Rajan Jain, general secretary, Megha Jain women secretary, Inderpal Singh, joint secretary and Rakesh Kumar, joint secretary.
