RAJOURI, Apr 2: Police arrested a student of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) for his alleged role in a case of assault on another student.
As per sources, police team conducted a raid in Dhanore area of Rajouri near BGSBU campus and arrested Mohammad Junaid Bhat, son of Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, a resident of Sopore, who is a student of BGSBU in CSE VIth semester.
Arrested student is allegedly involved in the case of assault on VIth semester student Nikas Aslam, son of Mohammad Aslam.
It is to mention that, Nikas Aslam was assaulted by four to six senior students in university campus on Tuesday late evening.
A FIR under Section 323 and 147 RPC and 4/25 Arms act stand registered at police station Rajouri and further investigation into the case is going on.
