Heritage School celebrates 11th Founder’s Day

JAMMU, Apr 6: It was a day of festivities at Heritage School as it celebrated its 11th Founder’s Day, here today.
The Founder’s Day celebrations commenced with a special morning assembly in which the school choir enthralled everyone with melodious songs. A brief history of the school’s march to success was also read out in which the achievements of the School were highlighted.
The occasion also witnessed the students being awarded with All-Rounder’s Trophy for their scholastic and co-scholastic excellence.
Parents of the winners of prestigious All Rounder’s Trophies in different classes for the session 2014-15 were also invited to grace the occasion. The proud winners of All Rounder’s trophy were Aarav Punj,  Avilash Sawhney (Class I), Atharav Dabgotra, Arman Sharma (Class II), Amay Sharma, Stanzin Angmo Kalon (Class III), Aarush Gupta, Preesha Singh(Class IV), Arnuv Raina, Siman Balia (Class V), Danish Mehmood Choudhary, Anveksha Sharma (Class VI), Sparsh Jandial, Chhavi Gupta (Class VII), Agrim Babbar, Ariha Dabgotra (Class VIII), Prikshit Jamwal and Divyanshu Saini (Class IX).
On this momentous occasion Legacy House and Culture House were presented with the Best House Trophy in Co-curricular activities in the Junior wing and Senior wing respectively.
In his address, the School Principal exhorted the students to take up challenges and be sensitive to changes and developments around them so that they always have an edge in this world of stiff competition.
He also elaborated on importance of competition and will to succeed.
The programme came to a close by reverential rendition of the School song.
