JAMMU, Apr 9: The annual Sports Day was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Domana, (GHSS) held, here today.
Veena Tikoo (Zonal Physical Education Officer), Bhalwal was the chief guest. On the day, the inter-mural cricket match was played between the boys of the science stream and the boys of the arts stream. The staff members were also made the part of the teams. The match was won by the boys of arts stream by six wickets.
The Zonal Officer, Bhalwal made formal selection of five students for inter zone team. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal thanked the officers of district Youth Services and Sports and staff members for their active participation in the meet. Principal also declared that this was the last event of the Academic calander 2014-15. He asked students and staff to work hard in all walks of life to achieve success.
Parshant Singh of class 11th was declared man of match.
