RAMBAN, Apr 10: Gandhri Club Ramban defeated DPL Ramban with a convincing margin in the summit clash to win the title trophy of the Volleyball Tournament, organized by Rajouri Police, under Civic Action Programme, here.
The winners were presented a cash prize of Rs 5000 alongwith a trophy by the chief guest, Nisar Ahmed, DIG DKR Range in presence of guest of honour Rajesh Kumar, Commandant, IRP 9th Bn Ramban. Randeep Kumar, SSP Ramban was also present on the occasion. The runners-up team was presented with a cash prize of Rs 3000 by the chief guest.
In his concluding address, Mr Nisar said that the purpose of organizing such events by the Police Department is to channelize the energy of youth in a positive direction.
