JAMMU, Apr 10: Four Amendment Bills were passed in the Legislative Council today.
The Bills which received assent of the House included, the Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Civic Laws (Special Provisions) Act, 2014 (L.A. Bill No.3 of 2015)” and the Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Protection of Human Rights Act, 1997 (L.A Bill No.4 of 2015) and the Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Accountability Commission Act, 2002 (L.A Bill No. 5 of 2015) as passed by the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly moved by the Minister Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Syed Basharat Bukhari were passed by voice vote.
The Bill to amend the Kashmir and Jammu University Act, 1969 (L.A Bill No. 6 of 2015) as passed by the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly moved by the Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar was also passed by voice vote.
