JAMMU, Apr 10: State president, J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP), Balwant Singh Mankotia along with other party leaders today reached Press Club and extended their support to the demands of agitating contractual teachers.
Extending full support to the agitation of contractual workers, Mankotia said that if Government fails to fulfill within three days the demands of contractual teacher sitting on hunger strike for last 29 days, he will also sit on hunger strike along with other Party leader and workers.
Mankotia said that this is unfortunate that thousands of contractual teacher are sitting on hunger strike for last 29 days but State government is least bothered to solve their genuine demands.
The JKNPP president further said that if the State Government can pay Rs 2000 per month to surrendered militants then why these highly educated and nationalist youth can’t be absorbed permanently in different Government departments.
Others who accompanied Mankotia were Yashpal Kundal, president, Young Panthers and Gagan Pratap Singh, spokesman, Young Panthers.
