JKIPRS organizes seminar on “Good Wishes for Good Governance”

JAMMU, Apr 15: A seminar  on ” Good Wishes for Good Governance” was  organised  today  by J&K State Integration and Public Relation Society (JKIPRS) at Government college for Women, Gandhi Nagar.  Kavinder Gupta, Speaker , State Assembly was the chief guest while Chander Prakash Ganga , Minister for Industries & Commerce presided over the function.
The seminar had several eminent speakers that included  Rakesh Gupta, president Chamber of Commerce, Jammu,  Annil Suri, President BBIA, Jammu,  Abhinav Sharma President Bar Association Jammu, and  Ashwani Sharma, president Press Club Jammu.  Anil Padha, Chairman JKIPRS and  J.S.Chouhan, Vice chairman JKIPRS
J&K State Integration and Public Relation Society is a constituent of Young Blood Association and has been formed to promote the recognition of public relations as a profession. The Society intends to formulate, promote and interpret the public understanding of the objectives, potentialities as functions of public relation. And at the same time promote and seek to maintain high standards of public relations practitioners. It also works on exchange  of Ideas, experiences and information of value to public relation practitioners and to foster the study and research of public relations.
The guests were welcomed by Vipin Sharma , Treasurer JKIPRS and thereafter the seminar  began with a welcome speech by   Anil Padha, Chairman JKIPRS  A heart soothing musical programme enthralled the audience present in the auditorium  . The artists who presented cultural programme included Dr Kewel Samnotra , Nirbhey Salathia, Vijay Anand & Deepak.   All the speakers in the seminar   highlighted the importance of Good governance vis a- vis the newly formed government in J&K and urged upon the Government  to  carry forward the vision of Good governance  envisaged by our worthy Prime Minister  Narendra Modi. The speakers laid stress on the fact that the present times can shape our future and a better one only if good governance is provided to this State.
On behalf of the Government, it was assured by the speakers on the dais that a strong and good governance shall be ensured at all costs for development across the State. The seminar ended with the felicitation of all the guests on the dais.
Eminent citizens, several luminaries from civil society, media, administration etc. attended the seminar. The stage during the  seminar was conducted by Vinul Koul and Vote of thanks was presented by Vijay Singh Rana.
