JAMMU, Apr 20: PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry delegation today called on the Minister for Finance, Labour, Employment and Culture, Dr Haseeb Drabu, in his office chambers.
The delegation stressed upon early rationalization of VAT rates on automobile sales to CSD, clearance of WCD’s bills on account of subsidies to Industrial units, immediate removal of negative list, specific incentives for establishment of prestigious industrial units with investment of Rs 250 crores and industrial units which processes and do value addition to locally available minerals.
The Chamber also suggested for early commencement of e-stamping. PHDCCI sought personal intervention of the Finance Minister for proper maintenance of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, four laning of Jammu-Akhnoor road, early completion of 4th Tawi bridge to Nagbani bye-pass. The delegation also stressed upon construction of Ranjit Sagar dam -Vijaypur Canal. The Minister assured of favorable consideration and early resolution of all the issues.
The delegation was led by Vikrant Kuthiala, Chairman, J&K State Committee of PHDCCI and consisted of Rahul Sahai, Kuldeep Gupta, Deepak Daftri, Prashant Mathur and Pamil Sharma.
