JAMMU, Apr 21: The Jammu and Kashmir State veteran athletic team won 23 medals, with 7 gold, 8 silver and 8 bronze medals in 36th National Master Athletic Championship held at Dharamshalla, recently.
The medal winners in women section included Pawan Sharma, Neelam Sharma, Sudesh Basotra, Kanta Bhutyal and Pushpa Kumari, while the medal winners in men’s section were Rajesh Padha, Ram Pal Kapoor, Jagdish Chander, Bashir Ahmed, Devi Dayal, Ajit Singh, Yash Pal, Surjeet Choudhary and Sanjeev Kumar.
