SAMBA, Apr 21: The Department of Youth Services and Sports Samba organized Inter-School District Level Basketball Tournament at Kristu Jyoti Convent High School, here.
All the five zones participated in the tournament with total 10 teams from all over the district . The Tournament was inaugurated by Sister Shalom, Principal of Kristu Jyoti Convent School, while the District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Shubash Chander Bhardwaj was also present on the occasion. Both the dignitaries stressed on the participation of youth in games and sports.
The final match was played between Army Public School Bari Brahmna and Rich Harvest High School.
The match was won by APS BD Bari by 8 points.
Players from APS BD Bari including Saransh, Aditiya Khajuria and Amritya displayed superb skill, while from Rich Harvest School Abhinandan, Robin Singh and Abhey Salotra showed excellent game.
