Suri elected president of RCC Srinagar

JAMMU, Aug 9: Working committee member, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Chaman Lal Suri, has been elected president of Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC), Srinagar, an affiliate unit of JKCA, replacing late Prof HK Rawal, who has passed away a few months back.
The decision in this regard was taken in an annual meeting of the club attended by almost all its executive members at its Sub-Office 127 Anand Nagar, Bohri, here.
The election to the executive body of the club was held under the observation of Chaman Lal Chrangoo, general secretary, Whites Cricket Club (WCC), Srinagar and senior working committee member, JKCA.
Rajesh Dhar was unanimously elected as general secretary of the club, while Ajay Suri as treasurer.
Those who attended the meeting included Chaman Lal Suri, Rajesh Dhar, Ajay Suri, Joginder Singh Manhas, Bal Ji Koul, Daleep Thakur, Dr Suresh Saraf, Jan Mohd, MK Pandita and Sohan Lal Rayu.
