New recruitment policy will spoil career of educated youth: Nadeem

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Apr 22: Terming the new recruitment policy of BJP-PDP Government of the State as anti-educated youth, Congress today said the new recruitment policy will jeopardize and spoil the career of educated youth.
In a statement issued here, Nadeem Sharief Niaz, publicity secretary, J&K Congress Committee, said under this new mechanism of recruitment, the unemployed youth will be exploited and also politicized at the cost of their career adding this policy will certainly give rise to nepotism, favouritism and corruption.
Nadeem said that new recruitment policy must have provision for creating jobs under various departments and public sector units in the State, but it is not so. On the other hand, this recruitment policy has many loopholes. He demanded the Government to remove ban on recruitment in Central Government departments and enhance allowances of the employees.
He further said that the new recruitment policy will lead employees to work at the whims and fantasies of politicians, which is very unfortunate.
The Congress leader blamed Government for showing high degree of insensitivity while dealing with unemployment, adding the Government has shown haste with the most important issue regarding future of the youth.
Putting a question mark on the credibility of the new recruitment policy, Nadeem demanded that this poisonous recruitment policy be immediately rolled back and recruitment be made through State recruitment board, district recruitment boards and public service commission on fast track basis.
