Village Education Committee highlights deficiencies in school

JAMMU, Apr 22: A deputation of Village Education Committee of Government  Middle School (Boys) Nagrota has brought in the notice of Deputy Chief Education Officer Udhampur  Ram Kumar, some  problems faced by the institution due to shortage of staff members.
As per the committee, the school was having strength of 94 students and is going to cross the 100 mark in the session 2015-16 but there are only 6 teachers including the head teacher. One of the teachers has proceeded on long leave and one physical teacher has been promoted and the post is lying vacant while some time one or two teachers may be on duty or on leave, the committee explained and demanded deployment of Urdu teacher, PET and grants for the repair and maintenance of the building as well as for the repair of the furniture items.
The deputation comprised of Bansi Lal Panch, Mohd Ramzan, Bodh Raj, Mohd Shatto, Jamal Din, Saif Din, Kamlesh Devi, Taro Devi, Geeta Devi, Shakuntla Devi and Bimla Devi.
