Indian swimming team wins bronze in World Championship

JAMMU, Apr 22: Participating in the prestigious ongoing World Schools Swimming Championship under the supervision of Navin Agarwal, Director General of Youth Servicers and Sports J&K and Chairman of SGFI Foreign Tours, the Indian Schools Swimming team kept the Country’s Flag high by winning a bronze medal in 50 meters freestyle at Poznan in Poland.
The Indian team has been sponsored by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) and the event is being organized by the International Schools Sports Federation.
For this landmark achievement, Mr Agarwal  along with the Indian swimming contingent has been congratulated by the President SGFI, Mahabali Satpal and other members of the Federation.
“It is an ecstatic moment for all the Indians in Poland and the medal here will go a long way to inspire the budding swimmers and also the sportspersons of other disciplines to perform better at the international scene,” expressed Mr Agarwal, when contacted.
