UDHAMPUR, Apr 25: Three days Zonal Level Inter School Tournament for Under-14 and Under-17 boys and girls in the disciplines of kabaddi, kho-kho, wrestling, cricket, yoga and athletics, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports concluded at Govt HSS Panchari, here today.
The matches were conducted under the supervision of Pawan Kumar, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Panchari and the Tournament is held under the overall supervision of Sunill Singh Sambyal, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Udhampur.
The tournament was declared open on April 23 by Tehsildar Panchari, Romesh Singh in presence of Block Medical Officer, SHO Panchari, Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies, Principal HSS School Panchari, Diwan Chand Kundal and Zonal Education Planning Officer, Yash Paul Padha.
In total, 206 students, including 130 boys and 86 girls drawn from 11 Govt and Private Institutions of the Zone took part in the tournament.
Winners of the finals in all the disciplines were felicitated during the concluding function.
