JAMMU, Apr 26: The training camp was organized by Amateur Karate-Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir at Gandhi Bhawan Jammu for the players selected for KAI National Championship 2015 to be held on May 2 and May 3, 2015 at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi.
The tournament will be organized by Karate Association of India (KAI) recognized by Govt of India (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports), Member World Karate Federation (WKF) and recognized by International Olympic Committee.
Players were given a warm farewell by Association in the presence of  Anil Gupta, chairman of the Association,  Ambedkar Gupta, president,  AKAJK and in the presence of Amit Sangra from Kathua (National Refree), Umesh Rekhi from Jammu and Rinku Sharma (KAI approved judges of Kumite).
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Suraj Parkash from  Kathua, Jang Bahadur from Samba, Mohd Zubair, Vijay Mahajan from Kishtwar, Anil kumar from Reasi, Madan Kumar from Rajouri and Abdul Hadi from Kargil.
Selected players :
Cadet Boys, Hitesh Thakur and Sayed Muddassar Hussain; cadet girls, Priya Thakur and Bhanvi Bhardwaj.
Junior Male: Yuvraj Singh, Mandeep Singh, Sourav Mehra, Sandeep Choudhary  and Sahil Singh Langeh
Cadet Male Individual Kata : Shivam Sharma
Junior Male Individual Kata: Amit Sharma
Male Under-21 boys, Sumit Sharma, Royal Raina and Rajan Khajuria, while in Under-21 girls, Amrita Katoch and Azra Khatoon have been selected.
